Dessert Auction Update

Thought I would send a recap on our meeting... we have lots to do in a short time before the big event!

Event date moved -  May 14, 2011 
Location - Brooklake Community Church
Time - 6:30 doors open / event 7 - 9pm
Goal to fill 15-18 tables (8 people per table)

Ideas for Live - 
- start your own wine collections
- date night (hotel stay in Seattle, show & dinner)
- TV 

Jordan -
- make invite for DA 
- Suz has printer contact
- need RU list & our personal list to send invite to
- mail out due date - TBD?
- getting wine donated 
- party favors (tins w/ candy)
- working on program
- video chef Mike
- kids testimonies?
- auctioneer for event
- contact Brooklake 
- go over details for event

Suz - 
- retrieve list of businesses that we procured
- email DA team with those names - ASAP
- scholarships letters - church support
- list of churches
- follow up with them
- get list of desserts & contacts from last year to give to Kristi
- talk to registration team from last year
- Stephanie, Jill, Shelly, ?
- oversee registration

Kristi - 
- oversee desserts 
- goal 15 top desserts for live 
- 5 simple ones for extra
- mugs w/ candy
- gift for fund-a-kid sponsor

Christi - 
- meet with Kaitlyn 
- would like her help w/ being kid coordinator day of event
- have her help follow up with businesses we procured
- silent items (goal 100 items)
- logging all items
- silent bid forms - Stokes Auctions
- talk to each team leader
- want 10 silent items from each school - all items due 4/30
- want 1 live item from each school - item due 4/30 
- ask each team to fill 2 tables
- submit names to me
- ask for 5 top kids from each HS (not MS)

Next meetings:
- Friday, April 8th @ 10am @ Starbucks across from Southcenter - I will be out of town - but will send you any updates :)
